Cristarmadillidium muricatum - European Spiky Isopod

Aldo called pineapple isopods, these are a really interesting smaller species, maxing out at ~6mm. 
 
We keep these on the slightly drier side, and will only spray one side of the enclosure to allow a humidity gradient. We provide leaf litter and rotting wood and crushed cuttlefish at all times, with our in house feeding mix supplemented weekly.
 
These isopods are easy to breed, and tend to have many offspring, however, they do seem to be very slow growing.
